BB4CK & CUPS One World partner to nurture parents

CUPS One World is a preschool for low income families, working hard to provide the best for their kids. Of the 55 kids in the program, they have chosen 10 to be part of a ‘Nurturing Parent’ Program.

Through care, education, and experience, the program offers, sessions on vital topics for families with young children. These topics range from self acceptance, to guided play, and healthy eating. The facilitators lead group sessions in a comfortable setting, individual supported home visits where they model appropriate play with the children, and the value of sharing a meal together.

Brown Bagging is extremely proud to be part of this program as we assist with funding to ensure these young children received proper nutrition and that community is built among this group to ensure the lessons learned are sustainable.
