My kid(s) won't eat vegetables!
  • Offer variety early
  • Have a one-bite rule; at least they've tried it. Tastes change, so introduce the vegetable again next month, but don't make mealtime a battle!
  • Be a role model; if you don't eat it (or eat it and complain) there's no way your kids are going to want to try it.
  • Add vegetables to food they already like.
    For example:


    • Add steamed broccoli to macaroni
      & cheese.
    • Add pureed cooked carrots to
      spaghetti sauce.
    • Make zuchinni muffins.

  • Melt cheese on top or sprinkle with parmesan.

  • Let your kids help prepare or grow veggies.

  • Serve vegetables raw with dip; often kids prefer them this way.
