We have over 60 community groups throughout the city working in a variety of ways. These include churches, community centres, schools, businesses and families who want to take action and support the children in their communities. Each program is unique and built to fit the community it serves.
We would love to hear from your group and look forward to walking alongside you to discover a meaningful way for your group to get involved.

Our Main Kitchen
We are growing increasingly dependent on our volunteer groups. Many organizations now support their employees to come to our kitchen. This is an excellent team builder and making nearly 1,500 lunches before noon brings new meaning to the term “productivity”.
We can accommodate groups of 5- 8 people and we require volunteers Monday to Thursday mornings.
Many of the lunches BB4CK provides are produced in our downtown kitchen.Your job will be to work with other volunteers to make sandwiches and prepare vegetables and snacks for lunches as well as helping to clean the work area after lunches are made.
Our kitchen is located at Langin Place, 433 Macleod Tr. SE. Transit is the best way to get there, but we do have parking available.
